Wool lovers meet Scout – Scout meet wool lovers.
Scout is unbelievably soft, a little lofty and has a matte pearlescent glow; highlighted by the modern twist on classic colours we’ve dressed it up in. The DK weight yarn sits beautifully on 5mm needles & the 2 ply structure shows off the wool at its absolute best.
Spun from certified biodynamic Merino from Eden Valley Farm in Dumbleyung, Western Australia, and minimally processed following organic standards in New Zealand, Scout is sturdy, supple and longs for wool-on-skin contact. Wraps, scarfs, hats, gloves, blankets, tops and light jumpers are a great place to start.
Good Wool Starts with Happy Sheep
These handsome lads are the Stud Merino Rams from Eden Valley Farm (where Scout originates). The 2000 hectare property was settled in 1905, and has been in the Lloyd family since 1945 – with Ross & Terri Lloyd as the current owners (Jeff & Dot the sheepdogs help out too). The property has been certified Demeter Biodynamic since 1988, and is home to 4,500 Merino sheep (originally descendants of Collinsville Merino). Read the full story.
We Love Wool
Wool, gently spun into yarn designed to be held by loving hands; yarn that responds well to direction and is full of character – lively, forgiving and buttery soft. Love good wool too?
