Easy meditative rows of garter stitch knit up incredibly quickly into this lightweight & hardy (thanks to the light felting of our Puff Yarn!) all-rounder. Knit this up for someone you love, or you (we totally encourage self love!).

 

INGREDIENTS

Materials

565 metres / 618 yards

DK weight (8 ply) yarn

Pattern uses 5 Puffs of yarn by Wool days x Plump & Co

Gauge

10x10cm / 4x4inch square moss stitch = 16 stitches x 26 rows after blocking

Needles

Straight or 16-inch circular needles in size 10.5US (6.5mm)

Finished Dimensions

74x74cm / 29x29inch

Blunt tapestry needle

Techniques

Knit (k): with working yarn in back, the right needle is inserted into the front loop of the next stitch on the left needle from front to back. Yarn is then wrapped anti-clockwise around the tip of the right needle and pulled through to create a new stitch.

Knit 2 Together (k2tog): knit two stitchestogether as though they were one, decreasing one stitch.

 

RECIPE

Blanket Increase

CO 5 stitches

Round 1: k

Round 2: k 3st yo k 2st

Round 3: k 3st yo k 3st

Round 4: k 3st yo k to end of row

Repeat round 4 until you have 140st

Blanket Decrease

Round 1: k2 tog yo k2 tog k to end of row

Repeat round 1 until 5st remain

Cast off

Finishing

Block as desired & enjoy!
